Flamedancer Beads began in 1997 as an artist's dream to become one of the premier glass bead artists in the world. While that continues as a dream in progress, clearly Dolly Ahles has staked a claim in the glass bead-making world and undoubtedly one day will be recognized world-wide as one of the best. Dolly realized her love of art at a young age and attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where she gained an appreciation for art in all its unique forms. Since then, she's discovered the world of glass and has never looked back, studying with numerous world renowned artists, such as Loren Stump, Emilio Santini and Don McKinney. She currently resides in Mesa, Arizona with her husband of 10 years, Joel, and makes her beautiful creations in her backyard art studio. Together they operate Flamedancer Beads and take care of two adorable kittens, Boomerang and Pepper. They greatly appreciate you visiting the website and sincerely hope you enjoy Dolly's art as much as she enjoys creating for you!
